Golf Events

Golfers enjoy an active schedule of special events and tournaments, some for Members only, others for Members and guests.

The golf course is open, weather permitting, 11 months a year, with most of the golf events occurring throughout the season.

Each week during the season, Members enjoy the sociability of a Twilight Golf event, beginning at 4 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception and a special dinner for all at the Clubhouse, prepared by our celebrated Chef. Billed as one of the Club’s most popular gatherings, both golfers and non-golfing Members come together to meet family, friends and new potential Members. Every day at Cullasaja offers an opportunity to establish relationships and forge new friendships through friendly competition.

The active Women’s Golf Association annually hosts several events, such as the WGA Laurel Cup, and the Ladies Member-Guest Tournament.

Some of the highlights of the season include the Mixed Member-Guest, Men’s Invitational, and the Member-Member. Other traditional events include the Men’s Cullasaja Cup and the Ladies “Patriots Cup,” played in the same format as the famed Ryder Cup.
