The Importance of Our Club Culture

We, the Members, mostly joined the Club because of the people, the friendliness, the openness, the absence of cliques and politics. By keeping the foregoing in mind and acting accordingly, the Club will maintain its very unique culture.

Cullasaja is an intimate private club in a storybook setting high in the Carolina Mountains that is dedicated to creating memorable and remarkable experiences for its members and their guests. The membership is genuine and friendly and the amenities and activities are exceptional. The club is managed by an extraordinary staff that is known for delivering highly personalized services.

We are One Big Family

We, the Members, believe we are all part of one large Family. As such, we aspire to treat each other as we would a close family member. We greet each other, even though we may not have been introduced, we particularly recognize the importance of saying hello to new Members and actively helping them to assimilate into the Club.

Egos are Left Outside the Front Gate.

We, the Members, know that each of us may have a different point of view from other members on political, religious and other important matters. We respect those different perspectives and honor them. However, we encourage all our members to avoid heated discussions and confrontation over the dinner table or while enjoying the Club’s many facilities.

Treat Our Employees Well

We, the Members, understand that the Club can only operate to our high standards if we treat all our employees with respect and politeness. Some of them come from far away places, and they will need our support so that their confidence grows and enables them to operate at the very high level we all expect.
